Sel Roti ~ Is a traditional Nepali sweet rice bread and an integral part of Nepali cuisine. Sel roti is made of rice flour and resembles a donut. It is made during Nepali festivals like Dashain and Tihar and also for other celebrations and religious occasions.
I recently came across a wonderful book called “Taste of Nepal” by Jyoti Pathak and simply loved her blog on Nepali food and spices. I tried her recipe on “Sel Roti” and they turned out perfect. So rather than reinventing the wheel, I decided to do a guest blog for her on my site.
